This second edition of Sticker's classic work on whooping cough has been substantially modified and expanded in light of his experiences over the fifteen year period since publication of the first edition. The section on hay fever has been eliminated from this edition and much of the new material deals with Sticker's clinical observations and experiences. The treatise appears here as Volume IV, Part I of Nothnagel's Spezielle Pathologie und Therapie.
