Joannes van Horne (see No. 536) has here edited Botallo's collected works. In this book will be found Botallo's descriptions of the ductus arteriosus, ligamentum arteriosum, and foramen ovale as well as plates illustrating them. Also included are his works on anatomy, gunshot wounds, hay fever, syphilis, and bloodletting. This book was once in the collection of Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (see No. 1113 ff.).
