Only two years later, this superb atlas was published without Albinus' permission by John and Paul Knapton who had had all the plates reengraved. Later that year they issued an English translation of the work and Albinus, concerned about this plagiarism, issued them a warning in the foreword of Tabulae ossium humanorum (see No. 835).
