This smaller work of 150 case histories is included with Mauriceau's Observations sur la grossesse et l'accouchement des femmes. As the title indicates, these case histories are his final observations on the diseases of pregnancy and childbirth. It is likely that they were intended to complete and amplify his earlier work in obstetrics and gynecology.
