John Agg (fl. 1816), the English author of "Lord Byron's farewell to England," wrote this laudatory poem soon after Dorsey's death and dedicated it to his good friend, Philip Syng Physick (1768-1837). In addition to the poem on Dorsey, the book is chiefly devoted to the long poem entitled "The ocean harp" and also includes other short poems by Agg.
