This, the first edition published in the sixteenth century, was edited by Jacobus de Vitalibus. Apart from the Consilia, the volume also contains three other works of Montagnana: his book on balneology, and two treatises on drugs and antidotes. Also included are the Consilia of Antonio Cermisone (d. 1441) and a monograph on the antidote theriac by Francesco Cavallo (d. 1540), both contemporaries of Montagnana at Padua.
