Yellow fever was endemic throughout most of the eastern seaboard for several decades of the eighteenth century. New York and Philadelphia were stricken by the disease in the 1790s with great loss of life and economic disruption. This edition, published in January, contains accounts of the plague in London and Marseilles as well as a list of the dead from August 1 through mid-December, 1793.
