Heirs of Hippocrates

The Development of Medicine in a Catalogue of Historic Books

Complete Record - Heirs of Hippocrates No. 1032

GENYU KAGAWA (1739-1779) Sanron yoku [Description of labor]. [n. publ.] 1775 Vol. I: 41 ll.; Vol. II: 33 ll., illus. 26.2 cm.

Genyu Kagawa was one of Gen'etsu Kagawa's (see No. 856) many students who followed him into the practice of obstetrics. Although the present work, a commentary and explanation of the Sanron, has been attributed to Genyu Kagawa, some authorities believe that it was actually prepared by his adopted son, Genyu Okamoto.
