This Edinburgh edition of nearly thirty years later is a reprint in a smaller format of the English translation from the London edition of 1749. The twenty-eight plates and thirteen outline plates are taken from those done by Andrew Bell (1726-1809) and were used by him again in his Anatomia Britannica published at Edinburgh in 1798.
