The sale catalogue of the Library of Richard Mead, celebrated physician and connoisseur. The sale, which was divided into two parts (split at the end of 1754) lasted for 55 days, contained some 2500 titles in octavo, 2230 in quarto, 1750 in folio, and over 100 manuscripts, and realized over 5000 pounds.
