Mead's text of medicine covers a wide range of subjects: fevers, diseases of the skin, mental derangements, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal complaints, apoplexy, afflictions of the eyes, and gynecological problems. The first edition is rare; the book is more common in Stack's English translation of 1751.
