A London apothecary, Colbatch rejected the common held belief that medicines were “alkalies” that combated “acidic” disease, but rather believed the opposite that medicines were acidic and disease alkali. This incited a series of pamphlets written by Colbatch defending his belief. This is a collection of some of those pamphlets.
