The present work, issued under the title De venis tàm lacteis thoracicis quàm lymphaticis novissime repertis, also contains two works by Pecquet (see Nos. 545 and 546), and two works by Bartholin (see Nos. 513 and 515). Munier, a physician at Lorraine, has here added a review and historical perspective of the studies on the lymphatic system from the time of Hippocrates to his day, and the work of Aselli, Pecquet, and Bartholin.
