This small volume is the first edition of this classical and accurate account of the anatomy of the testicle. It contains also an account of the use of clysters and of experimental fistulae which far predates Claude Bernard and Beaumont. The eleven foldout plates of the anatomy of the male genitalia are interesting and original but of modest artistic attainment.
