This treatise on the health of princes was written during the final years of Ramazzini's life. It contains the principles he recommended the nobility follow in order to enjoy good health and live a long life. A sensible diet, temperance in the use of alcoholic beverages, avoidance of obesity, proper rest, clean air and water are among the factors discussed. The book's final chapter outlines health advice for these leaders when on military campaigns.
