This work, translated in 1742 from the Latin by John Swan (fl. 1745), contains not only Sydenham's Methodus curandi febres but a number of his other works as well. His very popular Processus integri morbis fere omnibus corandis, Schedula monitoria, Treatise of the gout and dropsy, and epistles on venereal disease and small pox are also included.
