Culpeper was an extremely prolific writer and, in addition to his translations, prepared numerous texts on therapeutics. Because of his great fame, many of his therapeutically oriented works were more popular in the home than as reference works for the physician. Culpeper left many unpublished works at his death, and his wife ensured that they were published. This work appeared just a few years after his death and is devoted to the various herbal remedies that may be used to treat a variety of diseases. The book also contains a short introductory testimony by Culpeper's wife and Culpeper's horoscope done by John Gadbury, a close friend.
