This first collected edition of Browne's works contains a full-page portrait by the sculptor R. White. In addition to Pseudodoxia epidemica, it contains his popular Religio medici, Hydriotaphia or urn-burial, The Garden of Cyrus, and other miscellaneous tracts. It does not contain two of his popular philosophically oriented works: A letter to a friend and Christian morals.
