For more information on this author or work, see number: 416
This is the only collected edition of Harvey's works in English. They were translated by Robert Willis (1799-1878), a scholarly and well-educated English country physician, at the request of the Sydenham Society. In addition to Harvey's major works, the book contains Willis' life of Harvey, Harvey's will, the autopsy report on Thomas Parr, and a number of Harvey's letters which are translated here for the first time.
