This translation of De motu cordis was prepared by Chauncey D. Leake, professor of pharmacology at the University of California, on the tercentenary of Harvey's birth. The book contains a facsimile of the 1628 edition as well as Leake's translation and notes. A highly respected work, it is now in the fifth edition (1978).
