This work is a facsimile reproduction of the 1628 edition of De motu cordis. It contains a photogravure portrait of Harvey from the painting in the National Portrait Gallery and facsimile reproductions of the two plates in the 1628 edition. A short biography of Harvey at the beginning of the book is followed by the facsimile of the original text. An English translation of Harvey's Latin text is included after the original text.
