This edition is a reissue of the 1736 edition (No. 263) with a title page redesigned slightly by the printers, Gerard Potuliet and Cornelius de Pecker. Laid into this copy is a letter dated 5 November 1954 to Dr. John Martin from Sir Geoffrey Keynes (see No. 2325), Harvey's present-day biographer and bibliographer, who states: "Very many thanks for letting me know that you have acquired a copy of 14a. It is the only copy I have yet heard of besides Dr. Waller's. It is certainly very uncommon. Congratulations!"
