This fifth Giunta edition, edited by Girolamo Mercuriale (see No. 354 ff.), is of special interest because it contains Andreas Vesalius' (see No. 280) 1541 translation of the nine books on anatomy, appearing here in Part IV. It also includes the exhaustive index done by Antonio Musa Brasavola (see No. 228).
