This is chronologically the fourth edition of De motu cordis. However, it is only the third complete edition and is also the first edition to contain Johannes Walaeus' letters to Thomas Bartholin (see No. 512 ff.). Bartholin's letters contain details of experiments performed by Walaeus to confirm Harvey's theories.
