This eighteenth-century volume of collected works of Fabricius, with an introduction by Bernhard Siegfried Albinus (see No. 829 ff.), contains a large number of beautiful plates. The plates of the arm veins in Harvey's De motu cordis (see No. 416) were apparently redrawn from the original of that shown on page 154 of this work by Fabricius, who was Harvey's teacher at Padua.
