This is a separate publication of the edition of the Tabulae anatomicae which had appeared as a major appendix to Manget's Theatrum anatomicum (see No. 685) in the same year, the sole difference being the addition of a portrait of Lancisi as a frontispiece. The original plates of the 1714 edition have been re-engraved and slightly reduced, and instead of one figure per plate there are now usually as many as can be crowded in, so that the original forty-seven plates have now been reduced in number to twenty-one.
