This Russian translation of Vesalius' De humani corporis fabrica, by V. N. Ternovskii and S. P. Shestakov, is the only complete translation of this famous work into a modern language. An epilogue by the noted Russian physiologist, Ivan Petrovich Pavlov (see No. 2130), is appended.
