Pliny's work appeared in many editions through the centuries. This particular edition is based on that of Desiderius Erasmus (1467-1536) issued by Froben in 1525 and contains the dedicatory letter written by Froben. Camers two-part index is included as are annotations by Rhenanus Beatus (1485-1547) and corrections by Sigismund Gelen (1477-1554).
