This work is Fuchs' "epitome" of Vesalius' text of the Fabrica (see No. 281), but it is completely without illustrations. Another edition, carrying Vesalius' name on the title page, appeared the same year in Tübingen. A second volume of this Lyons edition appeared in 1555, but is not present here.
