In this book of case histories Adler returns to a "consideration of the original neurological and psychotherapeutic problems in which he never lost interest. . . . We have here no formal treatise, but rather the revealing and intimate discourses of the peripatetic and philosophic physician and psychotherapist" (from the Preface). The book was written in English and editorially revised by Philippe Mairet (b. 1886), author of A.B.C. of Adler's psychology.
