Beevor was physician to National Hospital at Queen's Square, London, and was most noted for his research on the localization of cerebral function which he conducted with Sir Victor Horsley (1857-1916) at the Brown Institution. This highly original work on neuromuscular physiology was first delivered before the Royal College of Physicians of London in 1903.
