This folio volume contains fifty-three copperplates drawn from photographs of sections through the head in coronal, sagittal, and transverse planes, each accompanied by a duplicate plate in outline. It was meant to supplement Macewen's Pyogenic infective diseases of the brain and spinal cord (see No. 2107).
