Landouzy was an early leader in the development of serotherapy and the present work consists of twenty-nine of his lectures on serotherapy, organotherapy, and the various medications he used to treat the conditions he encountered. The lectures, delivered to his classes during the years from 1893 to 1898, are quite comprehensive and cover such diseases as tetanus, diphtheria, croup, syphilis, and tuberculosis, as well as a number of other infectious diseases.
