Krafft-Ebing's Psychopathia sexualis went through many translations into English and retains its popularity even today. The present translation was made from the seventh enlarged and revised German edition by Charles Gilbert Chaddock (fl. 1890), professor of nervous and mental diseases at the Marion Sims College of Medicine in St. Louis.
