OTTO FUNKE (1828-1879) Atlas of Physiological Chemistry. Being a supplement to Lehmann’s Physiological chemistry. Cavendish Society 1853 xii, 29 p., 15 pl. 26 cm.

An instructor at the University of Leipzig and later the University of Freiburg. Funke was the first to successfully crystallize hemoglobin. He also researched blood formation in the spleen and investigated the effects of the plant curare.
