This work by the Italian physician, Calano, is chiefly devoted to his commentary on Galen's (see No. 36 ff.) De inaequali intemperie. It also contains six additional tracts on such subjects as black bile, heart tremor, and depression that were published between 1530 and 1537 and are assembled for the first time in this volume.
