A professor and physician at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Sabattini published this excellent anatomical atlas containing a total of forty-eight plates with the drawing and engravings of Guiseppe Guizzardi and Antonio Gajani respectively. The plates show excellent workmanship and anatomic accuracy.
