Selected portions of the lectures, as here, were translated into English both in the United States and England. The translator chosen by the Sydenham Society to do these selections was Frederick Le Gros Clark (1811-1892), lecturer on surgical anatomy and surgeon to London's St. Thomas' Hospital.
