Boivin has here collaborated with Dugès, who was on the Paris medical faculty for a number of years before becoming professor of obstetrics at Montpellier in 1825. The uterus and its adnexa in their normal and diseased states are treated in detail with many illustrative case histories. The folio atlas with its forty-one colored engravings drawn by Boivin illustrate the most common pathological states of the female genitalia.
